Privacy Policy

The short version: Sales Gopher runs on public, professional business data about healthcare providers — never patient data. We collect the details you give us (like your email) to run the service and stay in touch, we never sell your personal information, and you can ask us to delete it anytime at joel@salesgopher.ai. The full policy is below.

1. Who we are

Sales Gopher is operated by Joel Gaslin, LLC ("Sales Gopher," "we," "us," or "our"), a Minnesota limited liability company. This policy explains what personal information we collect through salesgopher.ai and the Sales Gopher application (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. 2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly:

Early-access / waitlist: your email address, and optionally your name and a short description of what you sell.
Account: the email address you sign in with (we use passwordless "magic link" sign-in, so we do not store a password).
Setup and preferences: the products you sell, your objectives, your value-model inputs, and your outreach preferences (tone, sign-off, goals) that you enter during onboarding.
Content you add: notes, deal stages, tagged accounts, surgery centers, referral sources, and similar information you enter as you use the Service.

Information collected automatically: basic technical and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, used to keep the Service secure and working.

3. Public professional data — and no patient data

A core part of the Service processes publicly available, professional business data about healthcare providers and facilities — for example, provider names, specialties, practice locations, aggregate Medicare procedure counts, open-payments records, and public demographic and market data. These come from public government and reference sources (such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the U.S. Census Bureau).

This is not patient data. Sales Gopher does not collect, store, or process protected health information (PHI) or any individual patient's records. All provider figures are public and aggregate.

4. How we use information

To provide, operate, and improve the Service, including building your territory and generating profiles, plans, and draft outreach.
To communicate with you — for example, sending your sign-in link, responding to requests, and sharing product updates about Sales Gopher.
To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Sales Gopher, and only as needed for them to do so. These currently include:

Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of application data.
Netlify — hosting of the website and application.
Resend — delivery of sign-in and notification emails.
Anthropic — generating draft outreach text from the market details you provide (we do not send patient data, and per our rules never a provider's personal Medicare figures, in these requests).
Stripe — payment processing, if and when you choose a paid plan (Stripe handles card details directly; we do not see or store them).

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account or waitlist entry is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, unless a longer period is required by law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under Minnesota law, the California CCPA/CPRA, or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To exercise any of these, email joel@salesgopher.ai and we'll respond as required by applicable law. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Sales Gopher is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Effective" date above and, for significant changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
